Is AI-Driven Product Management Our Future?

Hey everyone, I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz lately about the growing role of AI in product management. It’s not just about using AI in the products we build, but how AI tools are starting to influence our own workflows—from automating market research and competitive analysis to even drafting user stories or generating initial roadmap ideas.

This isn’t just a theoretical discussion anymore. Companies are experimenting with AI to streamline discovery, personalize user experiences more effectively, and even predict market shifts. The promise is increased efficiency, deeper insights, and freeing up PMs to focus on high-level strategic thinking and empathy-driven design.

However, it also brings up critical questions. How do we maintain human oversight and intuition when AI is doing more of the heavy lifting? Will PM roles evolve into AI trainers and strategists, or risk becoming obsolete in certain areas? The integration of AI into our toolkit is inevitable, and understanding its implications now is crucial for staying ahead.

What are your thoughts on AI’s impact on the PM role? Are you already leveraging AI tools in your product management process, and if so, how?
